& Other Stories latest collection is all our AW dreams come true

Recently, whenever I am admiring something someone is wearing, the answer is always the same. & Other Stories. The brand’s latest collection, Lady is a Champ (we adore the name) which launched this week, is no different.

This new collection by & Other Stories is a perfect mix of what the brand already does so well. A blend of frilly girliness interspersed with more masculine tailoring, think Parisian woman who’s spent a few summers in Stockholm, and that’s the vibe. This collection encapsulates that look to perfection.

There are gorgeous, frothy, tiered dresses as well as ballooning and over-sized silhouettes mixed with heavier tweed tailoring. We especially love the loose, billowing shirts layered over fitted trousers. It’s clothing we want to wear.

The collection is co-created with Swedish artist, Sandra Andreis. Her passion, alongside both acting and singing, is inclusivity and standing up for the female voice in the music industry. Recently this has led her to a new project which updates the lyrics of classic jazz songs, making them more relevant in today’s world. In doing so she hopes to strengthen and inspire young women to be themselves.

This collection is designed for that woman exactly; the woman who is completely herself. In Andreis’ own words: “A champ is someone who dares to be herself, who supports other women and stands up for what she loves.”

In keeping with this idea, the collection is both feminine and sharp; catering for whatever kind of woman you choose to be.

You can see Andreis’ artistic influence in the sculptural heels on shoes and the bohemian feel to the dresses. What’s even better is that the styling of the looks is equally suitable for a day at work in the office or at a music festival – all you need to switch out is the shoes.
