These are the 10 most wanted fashion items of 2026 so far

The Lyst Index for Q1 has landed and here are the most wanted products in fashion right now.

The Lyst Index for Q1 has landed, revealing how pop culture and AI-driven discovery are reshaping the way we shop. Consumers are no longer starting with products, but with moods and references – think “Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy style”– before narrowing down their choices. Recent cultural moments have driven demand for brands such as Calvin Klein, Kangol, and Vivienne Westwood, showing that storytelling now leads shopping behaviour.

Luxury continues to dominate, but success is being driven by strong creative vision rather than price alone. Brands like Chanel, Gucci and Celine are capturing attention by building distinct worlds that consumers want to be part of, especially during key moments like fashion month and award season.

There’s no single defining trend this quarter. Instead, the hottest items span both high and low price points, but what connects them are the cultural moments and communities behind them.

And so, here is what people are shopping for right now.

Saint Laurent leads this quarter’s hottest products, with its viral stand-collar jacket taking the number one spot after a huge surge in demand. The brand also lands again in seventh place with its butterfly sunglasses.

Elsewhere, the Adidas Chinese-style track top saw a sharp rise in interest following the Lunar New Year, while Celine’s ballet lace-up shoes have steadily gained traction over the past three months. Kangol’s Tropic 504 flat cap also climbed in popularity after featuring in Love Story.

At the more unexpected end of the spectrum, Trader Joe’s $2.99 (approx. €2.56) tote bag earned a place on the list, boosted by limited drops and viral attention on social media.
