Weekday has the best jeans on the internet – here are our top picks

Swedish brand Weekday has the best jeans on the internet and is about to be your new go-to – here are our top picks from the collection

There are always women with fashion secrets.

These women are “in the know.” If you don’t ‘know’ then best of luck to you. They are the females that know where to bag the best bargains, where to find the crown of summer dresses, and where to unearth the best jeans.

In my 25 years, I have not known much. But now I can sincerely say I am a woman in the know. I have fashion secrets and I am more than willing to share them.

Weekday has been creating affordable and high-quality clothing for a few years now. The Swedish brand is influenced by street style and youth culture but it has never been the first choice when it comes to internet shopping. Its marketing isn’t loud and its branding is subdued, however, it’s always the quiet ones who pack the greatest punch.

And Weekday is knocking its competitors out in the first round. The denim is of an exceptional standard with a price tag that doesn’t make millions of dollar signs flash before your eyes.

Plus, the brand has a responsible and conscious ethos with the majority of its designs made from organic cotton and recycled materials.

Having bought a pair of Weekday’s Rowe extra high straight jeans, I can vouch for the praise. Sturdy with just the right amount of stretch, flattering, and with a design that keeps me on the right side of cool, they are now a favourite pair in my jeans selection.

Rowe extra high straight jeans

The Rowe jeans are straight on the leg with an extra high waist for optimum comfort and flattering fit. They sit tight around the bum area and get looser on the leg. The denim has a slight stretch so size down as they will loosen over time. These are perfect if you have struggled to find a comfortable denim fit on the thigh area.

Voyage high straight jeans

Made of rigid non-stretch denim, Voyage jeans have a straight fit with a high waist and straight legs. If you are looking for a timeless pair of jeans, then these are the ultimate classic.

Mika high mom jeans

These slim fit mom jeans come with a high waist and tapered leg. If you prefer tighter jeans, these sit close on the body with a low-stretch for optimal comfort.

Linear denim trousers

In the mood for flared jeans? The Linear style comes with flair and an elasticated waistband for extra comfort. Wear with heels and a blazer for grown-up sophistication or with platform trainers and a plain t-shirt for an elevated casual look.

Veer high wide jeans

Veer high wide jeans, €50

Made of organic cotton denim, the Veer jeans possess a high waist, are fitted through the seat, and have wide cropped legs with a wrap seam detail. Although an excellent summer jean, cropped jeans work just as well in winter when worn with a high ankle boot.

Body extra high skinny jeans

Bold extra high skinny jeans, €50

These are the narrowest jeans in Weekday’s collection and come with a high waist and a high stretch fabric. Narrow stitches and small rivets were used in the design for a more feminine look.

Ace high wide jeans

Ace high wide jeans, €50

Extra-wide with flared legs from the bum and down the leg make the ace jeans the epitome of nonchalant cool. The body skimming shape means they will complement a range of body shapes. Wear heels if you are on the shorter side.
