Fenty Skin is now available in Ireland — meet the range

Fenty Skin’s four product offering is a cleanser, toner-serum, an SPF30 moisturizer and an overnight cream

Ready for your skin to shine bright like a diamond? Fenty Skin has officially landed in Ireland, having only been available before from fentyskin.com. You can now find the range online and in select stores at Boots and Harvey Nichols.

Since it first launched on July 31, it’s had rave reviews. “Fenty Skin is everything I wish I had,” says Rihanna. “I wanted it to feel approachable, easy, and to take the pressure off choosing a routine, so I created one for everyone.”

Like Pharrell’s skincare brand, Fenty Skin fits into the category of ‘skip-care’. Nope, that doesn’t mean skipping your skincare routine entirely, rather skipping the complexity of skincare and simplifying it down to just a few, effective products. This is exactly what Rihanna has done, with a four product range that includes a cleanser, toner-serum, an SPF30 moisturizer and an overnight cream.

Before we get into all that though, we need to talk about the packaging and ingredients. Fenty Skin is as earth-conscious as possible, with post-consumer recycled materials and the ability to refill the moisturisers. The range is fragranced with a warm, tropical, holiday scent of cherries, coconut, sun-kissed fig, and fresh desert melon, which is great for those who love their fragranced skincare but bad news for the select few who might be sensitive to it. Each of the Fenty Skin products has a vegan and oil-free formula (and gluten-free, the brand states, if you were considering drinking a whole bottle but were concerned about your coeliac disease). It’s also labelled as ‘clean.’ Let’s save ourselves the time on that one by remembering that no skincare is dirty, and read what the experts have to say when it comes to beauty products labelled as ‘clean’.

Now back to the ingredients, which are lovely; there’s vitamin C-rich Barbados (Rihanna’s home) cherry in all of the products, and other heavy hitters like hyaluronic acid and niacinamide. Of course, it wouldn’t be Fenty without being inclusive, and the products have been tested on all skin tones, textures, and types.

Fenty Skin launched with three multi-tasking products in the first drop, which RiRi called the ‘Fenty Skin Start’rs’. Since the launch, she’s also introduced the overnight cream, so we can expect more Fenty Skin products down the line considering the hype that has surrounded the range from the moment it launched.

Let’s take a closer look at the products.

The Fenty Skin Products Have Officially Been Revealed — Here's ...

Fenty Skin Total Cleans’r Remove-It-All Cleanser, €23

The first step in the Fenty Skin Routine is the Total Cleans’r Remove-It-All Cleanser. It’s a gel-to-cream daily cleanser that becomes a gentle and creamy, foamy lather when water and wet fingertips are added. It’s not stripping on the skin and won’t leave your skin dry. Here's What You Can Expect From Rihanna's New Fenty Skin! Find Out ...

Fenty Skin Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum, €25

The next step is Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum, €28. It’s a toner-essence-serum hybrid gel that is niacinamide heavy: a gold standard ingredient for pigmentation, fine lines, brightening, pore refining and skin texture issues, without stripping your skin.

Fenty Skin Hydra Vizor Invisible Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF30 Sunscreen, €37, refill, €32

Meet the Internet’s current favourite sunscreen; Fenty Skin’s Hydra Vizor Moisturizer.”Use every single day, no excuses,” states RiRi’s packaging, just in case you thought you might skip this essential step. Try wearing a high factor broad-spectrum every day for two weeks and watch your skin gleam. Rihanna knows this, which is why her SPF30 is so good. It’s the product out of the range that has been the most hyped about on social media, an amazing feat considering how few people think of daily sun protection as an essential skincare step. This is oil-free, hydrating and lightweight with a slight pink tone to it that won’t pill on the skin or give any flashback, and leaves a lit-from-within glow to the skin. Even better, you can refill your bottle when you’re done with it.

Fenty Skin Instant Reset Overnight Recovery Gel-Cream, €42, refill €37

The latest launch and last step in your Fenty Skin routine is another refillable, the Instant Reset Overnight Recovery Gel-Cream. “Y’all thought I was gonna leave you without a night cream?!,” said Riri on Instagram. “When you’re sleeping your body’s in recovery mode and I wanted to maximize that for the skin. I wanted a night cream that would reset my skin and relieve it from all the stress of the day so you wake up fresh, nourished, and glowing.” That’s exactly what Instant Reset does; it contains Kalahari melon oil, aloe, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, and baobab for skin that’s soothed, brightened and revitalized. Plus, it comes with a little scoop so you never have to put your fingers inside.

Fenty Skin is available now online and in select stores at Boots and Harvey Nichols.
