It wouldn’t be Valentine’s Day without a pop of red included somewhere in my outfit. I have been lusting after the Sophie Poppy Dress from Never Fully Dressed which is perfect for the occasion. To dress it down a little bit, I have gone for a gorgeous tuxedo blazer from H&M and knee high boots from Dune. I love to accessorise any outfit so this gorgeous tomato red bag from Charles & Keith caught my eye and I’ll keep my jewellery simple with gold hoops from my favourites at Crystals & Co.
Bar 1661 has created a really cool Valentines/Galentines experience this year, which I am dying to try! It includes a 14 mini cocktail guided tasting accompanied by bar snacks! It sounds like a welcome change from the usual dinner and drinks.

Valentine’s Day for me has always been more of a Galentine’s celebration. This year is no different. I want to wear something cool, but also fun, that is perfect for girls’ night. This Nimiiny top is so chic, and will be perfect with a skirt, or in my case, jeans, and really any shoe. I love these heels from Charles & Keith. The heel detail is unlike anything I have in my wardrobe. This outfit would also be perfect with a pair of ballet flats, runners, or even a slip-on loafer – which I am obsessed with at the moment. This Damson Madder bag is my pop of red for Valentine’s Day!
I’m the friend with all the lists, so it’s usually me providing recommendations for all occasions. This year will be no different! We have been dying to try Broadway in Clondalkin. Close to home for us all, and known for incredible food and cocktails, it will be the perfect spot for girls’ night. We may even follow that up with a couple of drinks in our local The Laurels, which recently won National Pub of the Year at the Irish Pub Awards, and serves as a home away from home for us!

Bows still have me in a chokehold from the festive season and I think this H&M bow skirt is Valentine’s Day in a skirt. Obviously, Ireland is too freezing to just wear a skirt so maybe with a black polo, tights, these satin heels and this Mango coat I bought myself for my birthday, because I’ll basically buy anything Carolyn Bessette Kennedy once wore. I’ll dress that up with my favourite LIE Studio earrings from Seagreen and ideally, a Fidelity basil marg.

One thing I want you not to fear this Valentine’s Day is mixing red and pink. Ignore all the haters, pink does go great with red! I’m still waiting on my date night invite (hint hint), but this will be what I’m wearing even if it means lying on the couch watching Bridget Jones singing Madonna in a Thai prison.
This Bubish pale pink feather top, worn over a pale pink silk skirt, finished off with these red Simona Rocha earrings (the best Christmas present I’ve ever received) is the perfect cute, fun and Valentine’s outfit! Or if I want simple but cute, this gorgeous red bubble dress is currently on sale on Revolve.
I love Caribou for a good pre and post dinner drink, it is the perfect date night bar with really good cocktails. Then food wise, Daata has recently opened another location on George’s Street with the most amazing food. The decor is also so cosy yet chic, and just across from Caribou – perfect!

The only thing I’m lusting after this V-day is this asymmetrical novelty cardigan from Hades Wool. It quite literally haunts my dreams, due to its sold-out status and general costliness. Almost €400 on a cardi may well be too aspirational for me, but for the purpose of this article I will be living the fantasy. Of course, a ruffled high-low moment is the only reasonable skirt to pair with it, and these leather ballet flats have a nice structure to them that I personally find very appealing. In this scenario, I am sitting outside of Row Wines with a glass of orange wine, putting the world to rights with my pals and people walking by stop to give me flowers and compliments and maybe even some money for being so fabulous in their midst. I’ll be doused in my most alluring scent (Irish Oud from Memo Paris) and looking devastatingly kissable thanks to my pretty new lip oil.

This Valentine’s I’m hoping to have a nice chilled day and go for some nice drinks and dinner. I want to look cool and chic for the occasion. I’m hoping to go for dinner at Glás Restaurant as they have the most wonderful vegetarian options and everything tastes divine! For my outfit, I’d like to wear something cool, like these statement boots from Miista, paired with this gorgeous fitted corset style shirt, also from Miista. Added with a pop of red to mark the occasion with this fab Dragon Diffusion bag. added with this fun pleated skirt to show off (the boots, of course), with this gorgeous shaggy coat from Charlotte Simone to finish the look. As always, I’ll add some bits of silver here and there too.
