Day 2: A Fashion Director’s LFW Street Style Diary

Day 2: A Fashion Director’s LFW Street Style Diary

Day two of London Fashion Week and the sun is shining, so I opt for Crayola brights, and a pair of trainers as there’s a lot of running around to do today (LFW street style shouldn’t meaning being or looking uncomfortable!). Zingy brights are a big trend for SS18, but these are colours that are always in my wardrobe, particularly burgundy and cobalt blue, as they flatter my skin tone. I adore these canary yellow trousers, although, if you’re pale like me, I wouldn’t wear this particular shade next to my face. I’m usually reluctant to wear wide-leg trousers with flats or trainers as I’m only just 5’6″, but because the waist of this pair is so fitted, it balances the volume of the wide legs perfectly.

Earrings, Penneys; navy polo neck and burgundy jacket, Zara; wide-leg trousers at River Island; trainers, Clarks

My rings are from Newbridge Silverware.

Outside the Simone Rocha show at London Fashion Week.

For the evening, I opted for something more muted than rainbow brights. This polka dot jumpsuit is one of my favourite pieces as it’s so easy to wear and hangs so beautifully. I layered it over a polo-neck as it’s much to cold to wear on it’s own right now, and paired it with navy satin heels from Zara. The earrings, which you can see below, are from an Irish jewellery brand called Leko & Leko and are made from 8,000-year-old bog oak. They’re one of my favourite pieces.
