Dileiny Baron: A Week in My Wardrobe at New York Fashion Week

Dileiny Baron is a New York based influencer and entrepreneur in her 40s inspiring women to look polished, feel confident and live with intention at every stage of life. Through relatable fashion and lifestyle content, she connects with modern women balancing careers and motherhood. Here she takes us inside a week in her wardrobe throughout New York Fashion Week, showcasing some thoughtful styling, elevated essentials and the unyielding power of accessories.

MONDAY

My fashion week began with an appointment at the Vestiaire Collective suite, where I picked up a few beautiful pieces, including a Prada bag I had been eyeing and planned to wear for a show. For the day itself, I paired a Maje Paris cropped shirt with a comfortable pair of Zara jeans. When the schedule is full, I lean into simplicity. A well-cut pair of denim and a refined top are my go-to!

For Monday evening, I shifted into a Naked Wardrobe maxi dress paired with vintage earrings. I love long silhouettes that feel elegant without being overdone. The movement of the dress made it feel easy and feminine.

TUESDAY

Tuesday was all about styling! The day started with fittings and ended with a cocktail at Astrid & Miyu and a Rivete Denim event, where I wore a LOFT top with Rivete Denim and styled it with a Zara faux fur. Vintage earrings and Alex Monroe rings added personality and completed the look. I always believe accessories are where the real story lives. They bring individuality to even the simplest outfit.

WEDNESDAY

To attend the Lafayette148 presentation, I was very kindly loaned a full look from the brand, consisting of a gorgeous statement chocolate brown coat, which I paired with a shirt and trousers co-ord and the Prada bag from Vestiaire Collective for a touch of colour.
In the evening, to attend L’Agence’s presentation, I changed into a L’Agence silk blouse and skirt in a stunning shade of malachite green. L’Agence is a brand that I definitely look to when I need outfits that make me feel feminine but strong.

THURSDAY

Thursday was packed and moved quickly, as I moved between eight venues with two outfit changes. In the first half of the day, I wore a Janet Howard jacket, a turtleneck, and a trousers set, accompanied by a Prada bag and Zara boots. It was a sophisticated look for the events I attended.

In the evening, I chose Janet Howard again, but this time in the form of a satin dress and jacket with faux fur sleeves. I styled it with a Loewe bag and Zara heels. I love mixing high fashion with
more accessible brands. That balance feels very real to me.

FRIDAY

Almost the end of the week, but yet another busy day! I loved wearing this Naked Wardrobe leather trench coat in this rich shade of blue to complement my Sophie Rue maxi dress. I carried the cutest Fendi signature bag, which was perfect for daily essentials.

SATURDAY

Saturday called for denim again, so I paired a baggy pair of Zara jeans with a Zara jacket, Michael Kors boots, Carrera sunglasses, and the Chanel 22 bag in a gorgeous shade of pink (spring, I am calling you!).

SUNDAY

The week ended with a beige look from Janet Howard: a skirt and top set paired with Zara boots, Elisa Johnson glasses, Nordstrom earrings, and the Fendi bag. As the week progressed, I leaned into pieces that felt effortless but still polished, so I kept the same energy moving into my Fashion Week Sunday!
