My summer outfit inspiration, courtesy of Harry Styles’ new video

My summer outfit inspiration, courtesy of Harry Styles’ new video

Fellow-knitted vest lover Harry Styles provided us all with a much-needed summer sartorial lift with his new video for Watermelon Sugar

As we all settled in for another less-than-satisfying night on the couch in quarantine this week, Harry Styles decided to answer our woes and release the video for summer anthem Watermelon Sugar.

An ode to the old normal we’re all missing right now, the video opens with a dedication to touching, and features Styles with a number of beautiful, summer-ready women running around the beach, kissing, hugging, eating watermelon and generally having the summer we all wish we were having right now.

The video is absolutely everything we could want from a summer single and, as it’s Harry Styles we’re talking about here, the fashion is impeccable. 70’s, golden-hued aesthetics give way to crochet shorts, tie dye bikinis, novelty sunglasses and larger-than-life florals. The video has given me enough outfit inspiration to last all the way til August.

If you want to grab a slice of watermelon for yourself, here are some pieces we found that hit the right note.
