5 SS20 pieces I’ve got my eye on (and where to buy them vintage)

5 SS20 pieces I’ve got my eye on (and where to buy them vintage)

If you’re trying to swap fast fashion for second-hand wonders, it’s not hard to find this summer’s best pieces on vintage sites

If you’ve slowed down your fast fashion habits during lockdown, and are focusing on investment and considered shopping when it comes to fashion, we salute you. It can be hard to push past the allure of the fast fashion beast, but when you look around at the other options out there, it can actually be a lot more fun and rewarding to opt for second-hand, and score a piece that no one else will have.

After your extended break from shopping, you may be on the lookout for some new pieces to elevate your wardrobe for summer. As always, we don’t advise jumping onto the next trend bandwagon you see — timeless pieces, that will come around again and again, are the best investment of your money. And luckily, much of SS20’s offerings are pieces we’ve seen crop up over and over.

But don’t just run to the next high street store to grab them — vintage and second-hand treasures are increasingly available online, especially recently, and you will find beautiful, elevated options of the pieces you have had your eye on. Opt for vintage, and save the guilt, and the heart-sinking moment of spotting someone in the same outfit.
