Megan Mullen: A Week in My Wardrobe

by Edaein OConnell
13th Mar 2026

Megan Mullen, 24, is a member of the Personal Shopping team at Brown Thomas, where she has been working since 2019. Before stepping into fashion, she spent two years in Russia as a professional ballet dancer, having trained since the age of four, making this her exciting 'second chapter.' Fashion now plays a central role in Megan’s life, both professionally and as a form of daily self-expression. When she’s not styling clients or filming 'get ready with me' videos on TikTok, she can usually be found cooking for her family or mixing margaritas with friends. Here is a week in her wardrobe.

MONDAY

I always find myself in something clean and easy on a Monday. I recently picked up this crisp black shirt from The Frankie Shop, and I never knew how much I needed a black shirt until now. I have been wearing it at least once a week since I got it in Paris, along with my cute little Repetto ballerina pumps. These have been on the wishlist for so long, so I’m thrilled to be incorporating them into my SS26 outfits. I finished with Zara true blue jeans, and to make the look more Megan, I’ve added my mum’s vintage Alexander McQueen silk scarf around my waist as a belt. A super easy but chic look to get all my jobs done on a Monday.

TUESDAY

Tuesdays always feel more like Mondays to me, but they’re also when I really get into the flow of work. Between wardrobe updates and occasion-wear appointments, I find that a sharp suit is the ultimate way to feel put together and ready for anything. This oversized grey suit is from The Frankie Shop, paired with a simple white tee from COS – truly the best €35 you’ll ever spend! Finished it off with a Khaite belt and boots.

WEDNESDAY

If I had to pick one brand to wear for the rest of my life, it would have to be Isabel Marant. With drop-shoulder balloon sleeves, boho-inspired dresses and skirts, I’ve never had a bad day in an Isabel Marant outfit. And of course, the return of 2016’s most iconic wedge sneaker! I still remember sneaking my mum’s magazines to see Sienna Miller or Gisele Bündchen wearing them, never knowing how I’d ever get a pair. Ten years later, here I am, stomping around in them, delighted with myself. The flannel and Beckett sneakers are both from Isabel Marant, and my jeans are a super-old Citizens of Humanity pair.

THURSDAY

When I say this Totême roll-neck jumper has seen every era of my early twenties, I truly mean it. I’ve worn it to work, to the club, and even to funerals. I don’t know if that’s impressive or slightly embarrassing. I’m loving this super-cool asymmetric skirt from Zara and can’t wait to style it more once the weather brightens up. My trusty cowboy boots are also from Zara.

FRIDAY

One thing I picked up in 2025 is my newfound love for colour blocking. Creams on creams, chocolates on chocolates, I just think it’s the easiest way to look like you know what you’re doing. I’m wearing a Zara jumper I snagged in 2021 during Covid, my Nili Lotan Shon cargos that I just cannot seem to take off, and a little Gucci moment down below with these cool Princeton loafers with fur from Vestiaire Collective. I love collecting pieces that not many others have, and my cosy Gucci socks (a very generous gift from a client) are the perfect finishing touch.

SATURDAY

Date night. My mum always taught me that less is more, especially for evening looks. I feel my sexiest in simple, clean outfits, perfect for a dinner date. I picked up this mini skirt at Primark last week and couldn’t believe how high-end it looked when paired with a semi-sheer American Vintage polo neck, unbeatable Wolford tights, and my trusty boots from H&M, which I’ve had resoled three times because I refuse to let them go. The bag of the night is from Alaïa.

SUNDAY

Cosy vibes, waking up in the city and picking up groceries for a Sunday dinner with my family. This incredible, fiery ginger fur coat was a find from my most recent trip to Paris. I spotted it at midday and, after a boozy lunch with my mum, it was still there when we went back, so it had to be mine. I’m wearing Nili Lotan jeans, my new favourite dressy trainers from Maison Margiela, and my super-fun Louis Vuitton Papillon bag from Luxury Exchange, which I absolutely adore. Truly my favourite bag at the moment!
