Style Watch: Olivia Palermo

Every so often, we like to check in on what Olivia Palermo has been up to lately. No, we can’t actually call, text or email her like our other friends, but we spend so much time admiring her sartorial choices from afar, that we feel like her friend. She’d like us too, right?

Yes, we’re girl crushing, but there is something so damn stylish about her and her apparent air of insouciance that we just, well, like. Here’s some reasons why?

Many a fashion editor has full-on proper admiration for her fashion combos, she doesn’t employ a stylist, preferring to pull her own looks from designers and brands.

Her beauty regime is a straightforward one – she keeps it simple with either a soft, smudgy smoky eye, and a muted lip, or a lined upper eye with a red lip, all set off by glowing, dewy skin. And she always wears her signature orange-y red nail polish. She knows her look and doesn’t mess around with seasonal trends. There’s a lesson there.

She’s a fan of statement eye-wear. A girl after our own hearts.
