Rixo has launched its first vintage-inspired footwear collection

Rixo has just launched its debut shoe collection. Cute, comfy and undeniably chic, you’re going to want a pair in every style and colour.

Rixo has launched its first vintage-inspired footwear collection

The brand that began in the London living room of two best friends, Rixo has been knocking around the block since way back in 2015. Created by Henrietta Rix and Orlagh McCloskey, the duo’s goal has always been to evoke a wanderlust and free spirit in anyone who wears their clothes – something the women continue to strive towards with each new collection.

Recognising the need for statement prints that are as stylish as they are wearable, Rixo quickly established itself as fashion’s most in-demand affordable brand. Characterised by its love of funkadelic 70s prints and vintage-inspired pieces, their first foray into footwear brings more of the same.

Unveiling the first look at their debut shoe collection – which comes but three months after they launched their premiere bridal collection – the nine-piece line is bright and colourful and promises to put the pep firmly back in our step.

Aimed at making our return to normal life as fashionable as possible, you need only slip them on and you’re ready to go. Where to? Well, that’s up to you, though a short press release from co-founders assures us they’re suitable for many a different outing – including working, dancing or strolling.

Made in a second-generation run factory over in sunny Alicante, Spain, the full collection is sustainably sourced meaning not only will you look good in your new purchase, but you’ll feel good in them too. Featuring straps that have been “positioned to flatter” and heel heights that make transitioning from day to night all the easier, many of the styles also include a retro floral motif.

Below are some of our favourites.
