The best studded pieces to invest in now

Back in 2012, you couldn't wear an item of clothing without a skull or a stud on it. If you did go sans embellishment you would be ostracised. Eventually, the studs fell off the fashion chart and many would have assumed that studs would never make a comeback. However, fashion is cyclical, trends return and now studs are making a strong resurgence. This current reiteration sees them big and bold and appearing on everything from ballet flats to jumpers. This time, however, it's a lot less cringey and a lot more chic. Here are the top studded pieces to buy now.

As fashion leans towards more personalised and expressive styles, studs offer a way to add character and uniqueness to any ensemble.

Afraid of overdoing it? Add just a hint of the trend to your looks through a hairband, a bag or a ballet flat.
