New season beauty

Issey Miyake

Unprocessed

Autumn/winter beauty is a tale of two extremes. On the one hand, we have barely there beauty, with features bleached out and skin translucent. It’s a little sci-fi, even verging on the ghostly.

Giles

Crazy colour

On the other, it’s all about riotous use of colour; petrol blue reigned supreme for accenting eyes this season, while ice white blonde is unarguably the catwalk hair colour of the season.

Rodarte

Mahogany manifesto

It’s all about that 1990s vibe: brown and burgundy lips are making a big comeback (think Monica in her early Friends days), and the same mahogany hues are being used to hone out eyes and nails too.
