WATCH: Supervalu’s ad is a reminder of all the things we hold dear

It’s been hard to get into the festive swing of things this year, but Supervalu’s newly released Christmas ad is a reminder of all the things we hold dear during the Christmas season

It’s simple and sweet; a young boy anxiously asking his parents if He’ll arrive, thanks to the impact of Covid-19. He helps decorate the tree, make signs with his sister, naturally with fairy lights so that the man in question will find his way.

“Is he definitely coming?” he anxiously asks, while his parents reassure.

“You just gotta believe,” affirms his wise young friend.

It’s all about hope and the importance of togetherness this year. Things may be a little different, but we have one another and not much else matters after that.

We were in tears by the end.
