WIN a Ford Puma Gen-E or Puma Hybrid
Here to tell you all about this electrifying and efficient vehicle are IMAGE staffers Emily O’Neill and Dearbhla Lovett. As regular commuters, the Offaly and Cavan natives are well used to travelling up to Dublin for both work and play.
Whether it’s popping into town for meetings, scouting new shoot locations or primping and prepping for the next big IMAGE event, Emily admits that she has quickly mapped out her favourite spots in the city. “I find myself spending most of my time in the city, usually accompanied by Dearbhla. As a result, we’ve established our favourite coffee spots, exercise classes, salons and shopping haunts dotted around the city.”
Thankfully, getting around the city is only made easier with the ultra-sleek Ford Puma Gen-E. Known for its distinctive exterior, it stands out amongst the crowd in the busy suburbs of the city. The panoramic roof allows the sunshine (when it decides to appear) and blue skies to peek through into the interior and the Gigabox boot allows for ample space for shopping bags, magazines and shooting equipment.
The first place on their hit list for the day is one of Dearbhla’s Dublin 8 locals, coffee shop Marlowe & Co. “No matter what time of the day you pop in there’s always a warm, friendly greeting waiting for you behind the counter or in the little hatch outside,” says Dearbhla, “and they make a really excellent coconut latte,” adds Emily. Coffee in hand, it’s time for some tunes enroute. Using the SYNC4 infotainment system, it’s easy to connect with your music app of choice, with the duo eventually settling on Amble as their soundtrack for the day.
Favourite Dublin haunts

Dearbhla and Emily head to Bolands Mills for a late morning reformer pilates class in Reformation’s newest location. “We are huge fans of their Ranelagh location, so we had to try it out,” notes Emily. Decorated in earthy tones with pops of blush pink, the studio is warm and welcoming as Annie Kirwan puts them through their paces. After a stretch, the pair opt for a little pampering, making the quick pit stop at Don’t Kill My Vibe creative hair salon for a blow dry.
It’s then time to hit up some of the city’s best boutiques for a touch of retail therapy. While traffic can make zipping around the centre city a headache, the Puma Gen-E’s advanced driver assistance takes away the stress that typically comes with the journey to the Drury Street area, where the Puma handles the tight car park corners with ease. Top of the shopping list is Om Diva, where Emily picks out a pair of earrings from Dakidaki, and Dearbhla strikes fashion gold in Lou’s Lot with a vintage reworked broach-clad blazer by Evadivvaa.
With up to 523 kilometres of city range, there’s no need to stop to charge the Ford Puma, and instead Emily and Dearbhla wrap up the day with a quick drink with IMAGE colleagues Susan and Jemma.
