Have you seen The September Issue? Well, you should. It’s on Netflix, and you’re probably broke after last weekend’s bank holiday so cancel any tentative plans and stay in with a takeaway and one of our go-to documentaries.

ICYMI: Whats the deal with the rumoured Grace Coddington movie?

While The Devil Wears Prada allegedly portrayed Vogue’s Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour as the comically icy Miranda Priestly (who was the brains behind fictional fashion magazine Runway), The September Issue offered a much more human representation of the iconic woman who rules the fashion world. Anna was a force to be reckoned with. She sometimes made unpopular decisions, but she wasn’t afraid to make the right ones. She seemed like an incredible boss. Scary at times, but we imagine the life lessons you would collect under her tutelage would be mammoth.

In recent years, it appears as if Ms. Wintour is almost attempting a rehabilitation of her reputation for aloofness. She played along with Zoolander actors Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson when they gatecrashed Paris Fashion Week earlier this year and her 73 Questions interview with her magazine was approaching charming.
