Lilac! Plum! Indigo! Violet! Purple reigns in beauty as spring's most wanted shade. Here's how to wear it.
Purple was the colour of the season, from Prada to Versace and backstage too; in blush at Bora Aksu, in liner at Robert Wun and in fringes at Irish designer Jonathan Anderson’s Dior debut, beneath a canopy of purple cyclamen flowers.

Fashion’s most indulgent shade has reached beauty too, with Chanel, Victoria Beckham and Lisa Eldrige all releasing sultry purple palettes, milky, cloudy, lavender nails trending for spring, Tom Ford dedicating a fragrance to fig and Le Labo’s luscious latest, Violette 30, 50ml, €209, centred around the white violet with notes of verdant green floral, white tea, cedarwood and guaiacwood.
