Social Pictures: The European premiere of Evil Dead Rise

Written and directed by Irishman Lee Cronin, many gathered at the Light House Cinema for the European premiere screening of Evil Dead Rise.

When was it?

Tuesday 11 April

Where was it?

The Light House Cinema, Dublin

Why were we there?

Attended by the Irish writer and director of the film, Lee Cronin, plenty of familiar faces gathered for the European premiere of Evil Dead Rise at Dublin’s Light House cinema.

STUDIOCANAL have also launched the official trailer and poster for New Line Cinema’s and Renaissance Pictures’ Evil Dead Rise, the latest installment in the iconic horror franchise.

Moving the action out of the woods and into the city, Evil Dead Rise tells the twisted tale of two estranged sisters, played by Sutherland and Sullivan, whose reunion is cut short by the rise of flesh-possessing demons, thrusting them into a primal battle for survival as they face the most nightmarish version of family imaginable.

Who was there?

Spotted joining Director Lee Cronin on the red carpet were Gail Kaneswaran, Laura Jordan as well as Laura O’Grady and Sophie Dennehy.
