CREATE 2024 returns to showcase just some of the wealth of design talent to be found across the length and breadth of Ireland.

Returning for its fourteenth year, CREATE at Brown Thomas continues to champion the best in Irish design, offering the twenty six selected designers a prominent platform in a dedicated space on level three at Brown Thomas’s iconic Grafton Street store.

This year, they welcome nine new designers, each bringing unique offerings: The Repete Project with ready-to-wear fashion, Magee 1866’s capsule womenswear collection, Olwen Burke, and Emerald and Wax as well as NCAD x Brown Thomas 2024, ‘Designer to Watch’ winner Dennis Lawless.

Joining them are milliners Ailish McElroy and FAO Millinery, along with jewellery designer Capulet and Montague. Their contributions complement the return of exceptional design collections by Jennifer Slattery, Caroline Duffy, Urban Aran, Ejay Griffen, FéRí, Sara O’Neill, Rashhiiid and Kindred of Ireland in ready-to-wear, accessories from Landa, millinery by Aoife Harrison and Michelle Kearns, and jewellery by Sara Ross, Siadbh Duffy and Shock of Grey and shoes by Nicki Hoyne, all showcasing the vibrant diversity and creativity within contemporary Irish design.

“As we celebrate Brown Thomas’s 175th anniversary, CREATE remains pivotal in our commitment to supporting Irish design, fostering creativity and supporting our local design community” says Darren Feeney, Head of Art Direction and Creative at Brown Thomas.
