H&M’s newest collaboration is with a cult fashion brand

Fans of cult label The Vampire’s Wife, this one is for you. The high street giant will launch a partnership with the British designer Susie Cave on 22nd October. Think contemporary cool meets old-world elegance

A fashion insider favourite, The Vampire’s Wife is known for its flattering silhouettes, glamourous details and an unbridled celebration of women and the female form. The collection is a mix of everything, glamourous and progressive in both attitude and fabrication; garments are made from sustainably sourced materials.

This is the latest in what has been a line of blockbuster collaborations for the high-street store and is sure to be as popular as previous collections, which have included Balmain, Giambattista Valli and Erdem. The Vampire’s Wife is renowned for its embellished sleeves, exaggerated silhouettes and gothic influences, mixing gothic romanticism with femininity. Keira Knightly and Jodie Comer are big fans.

Statement pieces include the lace mystique mini-dress with signature shoulders, the velvety mini-dress and the romantic silvery lace cape, all comprised of recycled nylon and polyester.

Accessories encourage whimsy, as charm necklaces, bracelets and ear cuffs feature eye, cloud, and of course, vampire teeth iconography. Fingerless lace gloves and white detachable ruffled collar are both playful too. Classic black dominates the collection for an invitingly mysterious feel, with shimmery silver lace, opulent button cuffs and rich velvet textures adding a luxurious tone.
