The Best High Street Jeans You’ll Buy All Year

Finding jeans you love at a price that doesn’t give you heart palpitations is no mean feat. So when we do stumble upon a pair that tick all of our boxes, we feel compelled to shout about it.

For a while there, it was all about Dr. Denim, the super stretchy, second skin-like jeans that come in low rise, high rise and just about every colour under the sun (beware of the navy pair’s colour stain, mind). Given that they never lose their shape, and they cost just €50 a pop, there were few other brands that could rival the Doc. Now though, we’re loving River Island’s Molly Mid-Rise Jeggings. Again, you’ve got lots of different styles here, from mid wash with knee rips to a dark traditional denim colour that, for once, keep you knees under wraps. They’re not high waisted to the point that you can’t eat without popping a button, but they’re not low enough to shimmy down your posterior as the day goes on. They’re super comfy, they’ve got enough give in them without being flimsy and most important of all, they’ll lift, firm and complement your bum as the right pair of jeans should. The only trouble will be choosing from their 41 Molly options (and that’s not including their high-waisted Molly offering should that be more your style).

Oh but we forgot one minor detail, they retail at €40 on River Island‘s website (some styles are a little more expensive) and €56.97 on Asos.

Give them a whirl, they certainly get our vote.
