& Other Stories are launching an Atelier Gift Shop range!
After a long anticipated wait, female fashion brand & Other Stories finally opened in Dublin last December to Irish fashion?lovers (and eagerly awaiting IMAGE staff). & Other Stories is characterised by it’s’reasonably priced wide range of accessories, well-made bags, simple jewellery, ready-to-wear collection for all occasions, affordable own-brand beauty, vast nail polish selection, shoes, and now, a special gift shop collection.
To launch this new gift shop concept, & Other Stories presents a short film series that invites you to take peek into their world as the products come to life in the hands of the creatives behind it.
Their creative ateliers in Paris and Stockholm are known for designing diversified fashion collections. They have?each designed a special gift shop collection, inspired by the gift shop experience of exhibits, hotels, museums and festivals. The short film series?highlights the varying roles of creatives in the development of Atelier Gift Shop.
“Our gift shop collection features an array of carefully crafted products that reflect the aesthetic of our Paris and Stockholm ateliers. With these short films, we invite you into our ateliers and show the collection,? says Ebba Kettner, Head of Brand Design at & Other Stories.
With a mix of stationery, travel accessories, cases, and decorative pieces, & Other Stories broadens their range to further establish themselves as a true gift destination.
THE PARIS ATELIER
The Designer & Other Stories‘shows & Other Stories? designer Sophie, creating designs for the Paris Atelier gift shop, which holds marble prints alongside?gold foil French phrases. Sophie’s film features her most-loved pieces from the collection: a leather bag at €95, a phone case at €9, an elegant brass pen holder at €29 and a brass paper holder at €12.
THE STOCKHOLM ATELIER
The Architect & Other Stories?explores the work of & Other Stories architect Julia, creating designs for the?Stockholm Atelier gift shop collection, which is all colours and prints.?Julia’s favourite pieces from the collection: clever paper cabinets, paper weights that can also serve as bookends at €20 and for her notes and sketches the A5 notebook made of FSC-certified paper and has a special Japanese binding at €25.
The gift shop will be a dedicated department in all & Other Stories? stores as well as on stories.com from March 2017.
