Social Pictures: The 39th Cúirt International Festival of Literature launch

Cúirt International Festival of Literature has returned to Galway for its 39th annual celebration of literature and creativity, and its launch night brought together some of the most prominent and up-and-coming names in Irish literature.

Cúirt International Festival of Literature has officially launched its 39th programme in Galway, and will continue with a stream of fantastic events right up until this Sunday 28 April.

The yearly celebration of literature and creativity has become a highlight in many Irish book lover’s calendars, and is well regarded as a leading voice for literature both internationally and across Ireland.

This year, highlights include the likes of Paul Lynch, Nuala O’Connor, Bryan Washington, Elaine Feeney, John Banville, Sinéad Gleeson, Lemm Sissay, and many more. This year’s festival promises an exciting line-up of events, featuring renowned authors, engaging panel discussions, book launches, writing workshops, and interactive sessions for readers of all ages.
