Shoe Obsessed? This Label Is Fashion’s Best Kept Secret

Shoe Obsessed? This Label Is Fashion’s Best Kept Secret

I’m a firm believer that you don’t have to spend your rent money to afford a fabulous pair of shoes. Footwear (and accessories) brand Charles & Keith is confirmation of this, delivering fresh, contemporary designs for, in many cases, less than €50. If you haven’t come across the label yet, get onto charleskeith.com quickly. Here are five of my favourite shoes from the current collection.

This single pair of heels ticks no fewer than four trend boxes for SS18; lilac (Pantone colour of the year), sherbet shades, perspex (both used on the block heel) and ankle straps. At the more expensive end of the Charles & Keith scale, this is still a great price for a stunning shoe.

If you buy one pair of shoes this season, make them white. While at London Fashion Week over the weekend, I noticed that every style savvy woman worth her Gucci sunglasses was wearing white shoes. Right now, they go with everything, so don’t be fearful of giving them a go. These mules will look fantastic paired with loose-fitting culottes.

The mix of textures really adds a point of difference to these shoes. The girlishness and softness of the tactile pink covering is balanced by the sexy black patent heel and trim. These are a great choice for evening wear whatever the season.

Pink metallic stiletto pumps, €59

I love the heel shape of these criss-cross shoes. It’s subtly architectural and injects these shoes with a real fashion edge. The houndstooth detailing is timeless and will effortlessly add a hint of print to your look.

These flats are the perfect summer shoes. The suede fabric will bring much needed texture to summer outfits, and this gorgeous shade of peachy pink will work with everything, from navy and khaki through to vibrant pops of red. The pretty detailing on the strap adds an elegant, refined touch also.
