How To Rock A Suit Like Meghan Markle

How To Rock A Suit Like Meghan Markle

We know she’s the queen of understated neutrals, but Meghan Markle has also shown she knows how to make a statement without resorting to bold prints or bright hues. She recently attended an event in London with Prince Harry wearing a navy trouser suit and white blouse. If this sounds boring, it wasn’t. It was effortless, stylish and just a little bit sexy.

Meghan cleverly chose a pair of cropped narrow-leg trousers, showing off her ankles (one of the sexiest parts of a woman’s body) and showcasing her black suede spindle heels (with just a suggestion of toe cleavage). The choice of navy over black creates a softer, more feminine look than a black two piece would, while the white pussy bow blouse has a slightly undone look about it, again exuding just a hint of sensuality.

If you’re as keen on Meghan’s look as we are, here’s an option that’s chic and affordable. This slim fit suit from Massimo Dutti has a gorgeous textured weave which makes it look far more expensive than it is.

Slim fit navy blue textured jacket, €169; textured wool trousers, €79.95; both at Massimo Dutti

Instead of a pussy-bow blouse, try this gorgeous blouse from uterque.com. I love the contrast between the masculine collar and they pretty lace and sheer detailing.

Poplin shirt with fringe, €89 at uterque.com
