Awards season is meant to be worrying thespian and filmmaking talent, but let’s be honest, it’s the red carpet that we all actually care about. Sorry, the Oscars themselves? Actually boring. The fact that a group selfie is the most stand out moment from the past decade says it all.

Now Marie Claire magazine has decided to honour the people behind those red carpet moments. The Marie Claire Image Makers Awards is all about the make-up artists, hairdressers and stylists behind the stop-and-stare looks. L.A.’s Chateau Marmont hosted attendees such as Jessica Biel, Jennifer Garner (post-divorce glow!), Lisa Edelstein, Nina Dobrev (slouchy masculine tailoring, we salute you), and Kristen Stewart, who has been playing a LBD blinder these past few weeks.

Winners of the awards themselves include?Jillian Dempsey for Make-up Artist, Adir Abergel for Hair Stylist, Sir John for Social Media Star, Tracey Cunningham for Detail Maker, Jenn Streichner for New Guard and Michaela Erlanger for Stylist.
