Here’s the thing: we know florals for spring aren’t groundbreaking, but mint, turquoise and duck-egg blue for winter are. Our wardrobe instinct at this time of year is to bundle away the bright and settle into the dark and muted “autumnal” tones. A few years ago, the idea of soft mint and delicate duck-egg blue for winter might have caused a toothache. But they are the surprising – yet welcomed – shades for AW18 that offer a glimpse of brighter things to come for SS19. It was the catwalk shows of Delpozo, Molly Goddard and Sies Marjan that signalled this bright revival.
