Romantic, modular and nature-inspired: Inside MYWONY’s new bridal collection

Ukrainian bridal and eveningwear label MYWONY has unveiled its latest collection, Spells of the Whispering Forest, a poetic series of wedding and evening gowns inspired by nature’s most transient moments.

Drawing from the quiet beauty of dawn light, the tension of a flower about to bloom, the softness of dusk, and the first drop of rain, the new MYWONY collection explores how fashion can preserve emotions that are otherwise impossible to hold onto.

“The idea was to find the briefest moments in nature – the ones that disappear before you can name them – and to make a dress that could hold each one,” said founder and designer Claire Rous.

At the heart of the collection is the gown Aéliea, which became the emotional and visual foundation for the entire line. The dress was created from six pieces of hand-dyed silk chiffon that had originally been rejected for previous orders because their shades varied too much, some too light, some too dark, and others too green. When layered together, however, the fabrics formed an unexpectedly harmonious composition, inspiring the direction of the collection.

Throughout Spells of the Whispering Forest, MYWONY embraces a palette of forest green, lavender, grey-blue, and deep violet. Silk chiffon, organza, and velour are used to create fluid movement and soft layering, reinforcing the collection’s dreamlike atmosphere.

A defining element of the collection is its modular construction. Many of the gowns are designed as separable pieces — including corsets, overskirts, lace tops, and silk camisoles — allowing each look to be styled and worn in multiple ways beyond a single occasion.

One standout design, the Faelynne set, features a flowing chiffon overskirt adorned with hand-sewn organza flowers along the sides, paired with a loose belt of silk blooms at the waist. The delicate petals are designed to move naturally with the wind, echoing the collection’s focus on impermanence and movement.

For MYWONY, the collection reflects a philosophy that clothing is not simply something to wear, but something to feel. With Spells of the Whispering Forest, the brand invites wearers to slow down and notice the quiet, fleeting details that often go unseen.
