David Beckham, you speciman of just how handsome the human race can be…

Images were released today from the ex-footballer’s latest H&M campaign and so far the boy done good. While Beckham’s Bodywear range with the Swedish fashion brand has been a standout success, in both sales and sexy advertisements, this time round Mr. Victoria is showcasing a full range of loungewear as well of smart casual pieces that he helped design in line with his own personal taste. The images above, by Mikael Jansson, show a rather mature collection full of simple pieces that make up the wardrobe of an assured and sophisticated modern man. The range is aptly called Modern Essentials and will be available in stores in early March.

Pieces in the collection include a linen bomber jacket, jeans, polo shirts, a pair of pink trousers and a simple trench. The collection focuses on classic colours such as navy blues and greys with occasional flashes of white. It’s all very on point and fits into the David Beckham brand that has seen the athlete work with Belstaff in recent years on curating collections. There are even rumours that the 39-year-old might launch his own label in the near-future…

A teaser video, below, for the campaign trailer was also released this morning and was directed by Marc Forster, who directed a little movie called Quantum of Solace some years ago.

And don’t worry, there is another Bodywear line on the way.
