Comma has all the colours, textures and shapes you’ll want to wear this winter

Autumn/winter is without doubt the most exciting fashion season for the majority of Irish women. We’re drawn to the earthy colours that are a signature of the season, and a reflection of the landscape we’ve grown up around. From rich navy and brick reds to toasted camels and coppers, autumn/winter’s palette is the saving grace of Celtic complexions. Labels we love, then, must reflect the subtle tones and warm hues we look so good wearing, and that’s just one of the reasons why Comma has become our go-to brand for AW19.

The German label has embraced beautifully the key trends and colour tones that appeared on the AW19 catwalks. An edit of grey tailored separates, from culottes and blazers to cigarette pants, will provide the anchor pieces around which you can build-in those sumptuous autumnal shades. There is a strong heritage vibe at Comma for the new season, which includes essentials like check overcoats, cable sweaters and vegan leather. Paisley prints add a pop of colour, while jacquards bring a distinctly luxurious vibe.

This season’s “bourgeois woman” is reflected to perfection in Comma’s new collection. Slim lace skirts in shades of champagne, and butterscotch separates paired with elegant pussybow blouses sum up AW19’s easy sophistication, while houndstooth and animal prints bring a fashion edge to accessories.

Daytime sequins were a dominant feature on the AW19 runways and Comma has interpreted this look with a selection of chic party dresses in sequinned fabrics. They will take you from daytime to dinner and right through the party season and beyond.

Comma’s AW19 collection is also peppered with a sumptuous selection of items in luxury winter white. There’s nothing quite so refined as head-to-toe shades of vanilla and clotted cream. It speaks of luxury and elegance and brings a lovely punctuation to the earthy tones that dominate our wardrobes.
