Introducing The Brown Thomas Days Of Denim Event

Introducing The Brown Thomas Days Of Denim Event

Dive into the Jean Pool at the Brown Thomas Days of Denim event.

The humble jean has rescued us from more than a few sartorial slumps and as a result, has earned a very special place in our hearts. For the month of September, Brown Thomas is celebrating all things denim with the launch of their Days in Denim event: a 16-day extravaganza celebrating the acid wash to the indigo, and everything in between.

Housing the largest denim bar in Ireland, Brown Thomas stock a massive 16,255 pairs across 250 styles and 11 must-have brands, the options are endless – so whether you prefer a straight leg with a frayed hem; a flare with a 70s influence; or a super skinny style in a high-rise fit, there is bound to be something for you.

And you can banish the purchased-on-a-whim; ill-fitting; never-worn jeans from your wardrobe forever. The Brown Thomas team of expert fitters will be on hand to share their tips and tricks on choosing the correct silhouette; and offering tips on how to style your perfect pair.

You might even be inspired to go bold with your denim decisions this winter. With the biggest trends this season being distressed shades of indigo and luxe fabrics including velvet and leather, its only fitting that JBrand will launch an exclusive pop-up in Brown Thomas Dublin as part of the event, showcasing a mix of velvet and leather options of their most popular styles in a mix of shades including inky blue and emerald green. Fans of Bella Freud’s knitwear should keep their eyes peeled for JBrand’s capsule collection with the London designer (also at the event), which will feature Alexa-Chung-approved jumpers, along with denim jackets in shades of blue and black and jeans in cropped and high-rise straight styles.

Also not to be missed is LA label Grlfrnd, the newest arrival to the denim bar. The brand exudes effortless Californian cool in flattering feminine shapes and counts Kendall Jenner and Jennifer Aniston as fans. We’re sold.

For more denim expertise, jeaneologists from AG Jeans and 7 For All Mankind will be in the Grafton Street store on September 21, while DL 1961 will take up residence on September 22 after making appearances in the Cork store on Monday 18; the Limerick store on Tuesday 19; the Galway store on Wednesday 20 and BT2 Dundrum on Thursday 21.

If that’s not enough, expert fitters from cult denim label Frame will visit the Dublin store on September 27, and the Cork store on September 28, while the experts from Citizens of Humanity will be on hand in Dublin, both on Grafton Street and BT2 Dundrum on Thursday 28, and in Cork on September 29 and 30.
