15 of the best cult dresses of summer 2020

by Erin Lindsay
07th Aug 2020

These dresses have been cropping up all over Instagram this summer

A great summer dress is a staple in any woman’s wardrobe. It can carry you from a day in the garden to a barbecue to a night out (remember those?), and playing with bright colours and prints is what this time of year is all about.

I spend a lot of time gathering style inspiration on Instagram, saving outfits that spark joy, and mentally filing ideas that I can recreate from my own wardrobe. There are so many fabulous summer dresses on the high street right now that I’ve seen time and again on my feed, that I felt I had to share them for some mid-summer retail therapy.

How to recreate the glossy, lived-in hair at Victoria Beckham AW21

“The hair look really was inspired by the early 90s,” says Victoria Beckham. “I like the idea of quite heavy hair, heavy fringes, that hair that looks like it’s been slept in a little bit, with a little bit of a bend in it.” Here’s how to recreate the lived-in luxe look from her AW21 show.
