Here’s how to recreate Tatiana Maslany’s TONY Awards look

Here’s how to recreate Tatiana Maslany’s TONY Awards look

Tatiana Maslany, star of Orphan Black and Stronger, attended her first TONY awards ceremony last night. The 32-year-old donned a glittery Zac Posen dress for the 72nd annual event at New York’s Radio City Music Hall. She called on make-up artist Quinn Murphy to create her beauty look for the night; including classic red lip and striking blue eyeliner. Meanwhile, celebrity hairdresser Anthony Campbell styled her hair. Here we’ve compiled the best products to recreate her red-carpet look at home.

According to his Instagram story, make-up artist Quinn Murphy used Ko Gen Do foundation in shade 123 on Tatiana’s skin. While this can be purchased from abroad via the Ko Gen Do website, it’s not readily available in Ireland. Instead, you can achieve the same luminous look using Chanel’s Vitalumiere Aqua, €42. This product evens skin tone; illuminating tired and dull-looking complexions, without feeling heavy or caked.

Murphy kept Tatiana’s skin look natural; there’s no heavy contour or highlight used here. However, there’s a very slight pink glow on the actress’s cheeks. Chanel’s Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sheer Stick, €41, has a creamy formula that blends effortlessly into the skin to replicate this vibrant finish.

Considering how the TONYs celebrate show-business, Murphy added razzamatazz to Tatiana’s eyes with bright blue eyeliner. This one by Dior in shade Matte Pop Blue, €34, is highly pigmented and lasts for up to 24 hours.

Then, for the lips, the make-up artist opted for a classic Hollywood red shade. Clarins Joli Rouge Velvet, €24, in shade 742m is perfect. The formula is enriched with apricot oil to prevent your lips from drying out, while the colour lasts for hours.

As for Tatiana’s hair, stylist Anthony Campbell added lift and volume while still maintaining her natural texture. Joico Body Shake, €22.95, is a lightweight texturising spray that brings life to limp hair. Simply apply to dry hair for instant thickness and body.
