Flormar’s newest foundation offering is one you need and we tell you why…

To me, finding the right foundation is like finding the right partner. For years you are faced with dry, oily, patchy and flaky options. You eventually decide you want (and deserve) better, one that is long-lasting, glowy and the perfect match.

This search often takes years, but when the time is right and it’s meant to be, you won’t know how you ever lived without it for so long.

The foundation search can sometimes feel like you’re on a continuous Tinder-loop. You swipe right to test the waters and then, maybe, a full-blown date. Sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn’t. At this stage of my life, this is how I feel about relationships and my foundations.

Through changing seasons, the texture of my skin changes too. And my once-loved make-up products just weren’t working the way they used to… And so I set off on the long road to finding my soulmate – my foundation soulmate that is.

The search

I had a few stipulations when it came to choosing my next possible foundation suitor. Firstly, I wanted something lightweight with medium coverage (that was buildable to full); one that was long-lasting and which wouldn’t break the bank.

You may call me picky, but I know what I like and what I want from my foundation.

And so my search began. I swiped, I swatched, I tested. There were tough times and an abundance of make-up remover, but I eventually found my holy-grail in the form of Flormar’s new HD Invisible Cover Foundation.

Flormar is a brand that has been on my radar for a while now. Affordable but on trend, it is accessible, high-power beauty. Having been a firm fan of their Illuminating Primer Make-Up Base, I was excited to try their newest foundation offering.

And it did not disappoint.

It has a lightweight formula that gives a beautiful flawless finish; a finish that is both high coverage and natural at the same time. It’s an Instagram filter in a bottle and looks best when applied with a foundation brush (which helps to enhance its staying power even more).

It is the perfect texture. Its pore-smoothing effect will have skin looking better than ever and with an SPF of 30, it helps to protect your skin from UV rays too.

Available in five shades, the foundation is a steal at just €11.95 per bottle (and you won’t have long to wait until you can get your hands on it because it’s arriving into pharmacies and selected Penneys stores in June).

Trust me, you don’t want to miss out on this one.

How to recreate the glossy, lived-in hair at Victoria Beckham AW21

“The hair look really was inspired by the early 90s,” says Victoria Beckham. “I like the idea of quite heavy hair, heavy fringes, that hair that looks like it’s been slept in a little bit, with a little bit of a bend in it.” Here’s how to recreate the lived-in luxe look from her AW21 show.
