Little Black Book: 5 Dublin hair salons that open on Sundays

A Sunday may be for resting but it’s also one of the best days to get your hair tended to. Here are five Dublin hair salons that open on Sundays

Though Sunday is meant to be a day of rest, sometimes it is the perfect day to get your bits done.

One of those bits is hair. Many of us have to pencil in a hair appointment weeks in advance and Saturdays can often be manic.

However, a Sunday can be just right. A trip to the salon is a relaxing experience, so what better day to do it?

Not many hair salons open on a Sunday but we have found five which do in Dublin.

Whether you want a colour, cut or even just a blowdry before Sunday brunch, these businesses will cater to all of your hair needs.

Blow Salons

Open seven days a week, Blow Salons have a total of four locations across the city. These include Leeson Street, the Intercontinental Hotel, Richmond Street and Dunnes Stores on Henry Street. Experts at blowdries, they also provide cut and colouring services too.

Peter Mark, Grafton Street and Mary Street

Peter Mark is one of the best-known hairdressing chains in Ireland and luckily for us, a wide range of their Dublin salons open on Sundays. For the full list click here.

Moyo Hair & Beauty Salon

Located on Charlotte Way, Moyo Hair & Beauty Salon is one of Ireland’s Aveda-exclusive salons. With a range of treatments on offer and located within walking distance of the city centre, it’s the perfect spot for a pre-Sunday brunch blow dry.

Ultimate Hair & Beauty

Open from 10.30 am to 5.30 pm on Sunday, Ultimate Hair & Beauty in the GPO shopping arcade provides a wide range of beauty services in a relaxed atmosphere. A trip here won’t leave your pockets empty either, with prices starting at €22.50 for a blowdry.

The Beauty Lounge at Brown Thomas

The Beauty Lounge is a one-stop-shop for hair, nails, and makeup and by the grace of God, also opens on Sundays from 11 am to 6 pm. With blowdry packages, treatments and hair colouring services, our Sunday hair fears will be conquered.
