From online doctors to prescription delivery, here’s how to fulfil your medical needs from the comfort and safety of home.

With the current lockdown in place, most of us are doing everything we can to restrict our movements something that’s become easier to do with the increased availability of online services.

We can do the weekly food shopping, spruce up our WFH wardrobe (fingers crossed it looks like the pictures) and now, even take a virtual trip to a GP (no appointments necessary).

McCauley Health and Beauty Pharmacy has just launched a virtual wellness hub, with access to medical professionals and prescriptions, making our lives all the more convenient.

Pharmacist helpline

A godsend for parents, McCauley Pharmacy is offering a free pharmacist helpline for anyone who needs trustworthy medical advice quickly. Whether you have a question about a medication you’re taking or you’re worried about unusual symptoms your child is having, a pharmacist will be able to advise you on the next steps to take.

The helpline is available Monday to Friday, from 10am to 5pm. Just dial 1 800 83 99 09.

Online doctor service

Online doctor services are now available; this allows you to order prescriptions without an expensive and hassling trip to your GP. Costing only €20, it’s a safe, simple and secure way to get treatment from a doctor from the comfort of home in four easy steps. Just select the treatment you need (e.g. acne, birth control) and answer a short questionnaire. A doctor will quickly review your request and, if approved, will send your prescription to a local pharmacy of your choice.

These consultations are not suitable for every type of prescription, but they are available for common treatments, including acne, contraceptives, high blood pressure, hay fever and asthma.

Click and collect

If you want to save time, you can shop for everything you need online beforehand. It will be ready for pick up at the till by the time you get there. The pharmacy also has a full range of beauty products and fragrances available, and they offer free delivery on orders over €39.

McCauley has locations nationwide, so you’ll easily be able to click and collect at one near you – going to the GP has never been easier.

Free prescription delivery

Since Covid-19 restrictions have been put in place, our travel radius has been reduced to a short distance from our home. So, for convenience, McCauley Pharmacy is offering free, nationwide prescription delivery.

Simply ask your GP to send your script to any McCauley Pharmacy, then contact them and let them know you would like to have your prescription delivered. Your medication will be sent directly to your door for free.

McCauley Health and Beauty Pharmacy is the number one destination for your health, beauty and wellness needs and advice. We let our experts be your experts. Order now for convenient, hassle-free and five-star customer service.
