With the current lockdown in place, most of us are doing everything we can to restrict our movements — something that’s become easier to do with the increased availability of online services.

Online doctor service

Online doctor services are now available; this allows you to order prescriptions without an expensive and hassling trip to your GP. Costing only €20, it’s a safe, simple and secure way to get treatment from a doctor from the comfort of home in four easy steps. Just select the treatment you need (e.g. acne, birth control) and answer a short questionnaire. A doctor will quickly review your request and, if approved, will send your prescription to a local pharmacy of your choice. 

These consultations are not suitable for every type of prescription, but they are available for common treatments, including acne, contraceptives, high blood pressure, hay fever and asthma. 

Click and collect

If you want to save time, you can shop for everything you need online beforehand. It will be ready for pick up at the till by the time you get there. The pharmacy also has a full range of beauty products and fragrances available, and they offer free delivery on orders over €39.

Free prescription delivery

Since Covid-19 restrictions have been put in place, our travel radius has been reduced to a short distance from our home. So, for convenience, McCauley Pharmacy is offering free, nationwide prescription delivery.

Simply ask your GP to send your script to any McCauley Pharmacy, then contact them and let them know you would like to have your prescription delivered. Your medication will be sent directly to your door for free.
