This stylish Victorian Ballsbridge home is on the market for €3 million

The four-bed home is within a short walk of the city centre, and has been decorated with a palette of calming neutrals.

A large Victorian detached home, 4 Raglan Road has four bedrooms and several well-sized reception rooms. You enter the home up a flight of granite steps, which bring you to the front door and into the entrance hallway.

To the left of this space are the two main reception rooms, the two interconnected drawing rooms, one of which is currently used as a dining room. Both have been decorated in warm neutral tones, and have period features such as large sash windows, decorative ceiling coving and high ceilings.

On the other side of the house is one of the bedrooms, which could also be used as a study, and a guest WC. The kitchen is on the garden level, which has polished timber floors with underfloor heating. The units are handcrafted from solid wood, and the worktops are Carrera marble, while a large island sits in the centre.

Folding double doors lead to a living room which has a stove set in a granite hearth. There is also a utility room on this level, as well as a room with French doors leading to a south-east facing rear patio and garden, currently set up as a bedroom.

On the first floor are three more bedrooms, including the main bedroom which has a marble tiled ensuite.

Outside there is a large courtyard to the side, while the back garden has a large patio area, a gazebo that could be used as a covered dining area, and a lawn.

The house is in a particularly enviable location, just a few minutes walk from the centre of Ballsbridge and its shops and restaurants, as well as the RDS. The Aviva stadium is also close by, while the city centre is only around 20 minutes’ walk away.
