Get Into The Groove

Get Into The Groove

Why we’re heading to Kilruddery Estate this July for the summer’s most exciting festival…

When it comes to summer festivals, the Irish calendar is admittedly getting a bit crowded. Which is good in that weekend plans always have a roster of choice, but difficulty arises when choosing where the dregs of the pay cheque ought to go? The Groove Festival in Bray is the riposte to any such uncertainties. Now in its second year, this family-friendly festival is proving itself a fantastic return and must-do. Taking place in the leafy and beautiful Kilruddery Estate, just after Bray and before Greystones, the Groove weekend promises hassle-free transport and plenty of Instagram-worthy backdrop. With an Enchanted Garden specifically for children and hog roasts for all, we can’t think of a more multi-generational day out.

Paloma Faith headlines the Saturday this year and David Gray the Sunday. Cathy Davey, The Eskies, Jessica Sweetman and Big September also find themselves on the billing. It’s a gathering of good taste.

Also, hog roasts.

Buy tickets and find out more about the festival here.
