The Doyle Collection’s headshot initiative returns for International Women’s Day this year

Mark your calendars; the Doyle Collection’s annual IWD headshot initiative returns this year with bookings now open on Eventbrite.

The Doyle Collection’s International Women’s Day headshot initiative returns once again this year, offering professional headshots for women in London, Dublin, Bristol, Cork, and Washington D.C.

One of those tasks that most of us put on the long finger, a professional portrait is an invaluable marketing tool and will go a long way in helping you get your name out there – be that on your own website, on social media or on LinkedIn.

Helping us to tick one more item off the to-do list, the Doyle Collection has been organising their headshot initiative for several years now to support women in business all across the globe. A day-long event organised to coincide with International Women’s Day, this year’s Irish sessions will run in both Dublin and Cork in early March.

Tickets cost €15, with any additional donations collected on the day going to support Daisy House – an Irish charity which helps women journey out of homelessness.

You can find full details and booking information about the three Irish sessions below.

The Westbury, Dublin

At The Westbury, seasoned photographer Emily Quinn will capture each portrait within the iconic property. Emily has previously shot campaigns for House of Fraser, Arnotts and Avoca. Her most recent project saw her showcase an incredibly powerful collection titled The Art of Strength, in which she worked closely with stylist Catherine Condell to style and photograph Irish women portraying various inspiring women in Irish history, from Queen Maeve to Constance Markievicz.

The sessions at The Westbury will take place on Friday, March 1st from 9.30am – 4.30pm with refreshments served throughout the day and a selection of works from Emily’s The Art of Strength also on display. Bookings are available via Eventbrite

The Croke Park, Dublin

At The Croke Park in Dublin, local photographer Yvonne Keane will be responsible for shooting each portrait on the property’s beautiful garden terrace. Yvonne specialises in family and professional portraits as well as beautiful wedding photography. The sessions at The Croke Park will take place on Wednesday, 6th March from 9:30am – 4:00pm, with refreshments served throughout the day in the effortlessly stylish Hawthorn restaurant. The team at The Croke Park will also take the opportunity to unveil an extension of their partnership with the Gate Theatre with the new 15 Minute Dublin: Celebrating Female Stories with the Gate Theatre. These bespoke packages will include tickets to Emma O’Donoghue’s all-female production of The Pull of the Stars in April and Brian Friel’s Dancing at Lughnasa in July. Bookings are available via Eventbrite

The River Lee, Cork

In Cork, renowned photographer Egle Laukyte from Artisan Chronicles will return for a fourth time to The River Lee to celebrate International Women’s Day and the Doyle Collection’s annual headshot initiative. Egle is an event, food and lifestyle photographer who has made a name for herself on the national stage through her dynamic approach to capturing individuals in any setting or occasion. Known for her editorial approach, guests will be sure to return from the experience with a fantastic headshot which stands out from the crowd. The sessions at The River Lee will take place on Wednesday, 6th March from 9:30am – 4:00pm in its light-filled, lofty surroundings, with treats served throughout the day. Bookings are available via Eventbrite.
