Social Pictures: Continentally Classic Best Dressed at InterContinental

From the best dressed winners to the stylish judges, take a look at the beautiful wears on display at the Continentally Classic Best Dressed competition.

Following Ladies’ Day at the Dublin Horse Show, a fashion forward few descended on the InterContinental hotel for the Continentally Classic Best Dressed Lady and Most Stylish Gent competition. Here’s some of the very best style on show at the event…

Why were we there?

Ladies and gentlemen came out in force earlier this month to show off their finest wears for the fourth Continentally Classic Best Dressed Lady and Most Stylish Gent competition following Ladies’ Day at the Dublin Horse Show.

The judging panel was made up of fashion writer Bairbre Power, and General Manager of the InterConinental, Nicky Logue. Throughout the course of the event, guests enjoyed bubbles and canapes as singer Sean Boland provided musical entertainment.

Who was there?

The judges had quite the task on their hands in selecting the very best of the bunch, but in the end, it was Galway-based intensive care nurse Michelle Manning that won the title of Best Dressed Lady in a dress by Apparentia, a hat by Marc Millinery, and bag from Pia boutique. Manning was awarded a €1,000 gift card for Kildare Village, a personal shopping experience, complimentary use of the apartment and hands-free shopping for the day. She also received a one-night luxury stay with breakfast and dinner in the InterContinental Dublin, and in sister MHL Collection Hotels, the Powerscourt Resort Hotel & Spa in Wicklow and Glenlo Abbey Hotel & Estate in Galway.

Raymond Gilbourne was named Most Stylish Gent on the night, and won a luxury stay at the InterContinental Hotel Dublin and a bottle of Perrier Jouet Champagne.

Well-known faces such as Lorraine Keane, Muireann O’Connell, Corina Gaffey, and Louise McSharry were also in attendance.
