Meet Dr Doireann O’Leary and Dr Sayyada Mawji, the healthcare experts helping to transform your lifestyle in Week 2 of our eight-week wellness series, IMAGE Self-care Sundays, in partnership with Yoplait.

A goal for many of us is to live a healthier lifestyle. But where do we start?

Week 2 of IMAGE Self-care Sundays, in partnership with Yoplait, focuses on all things health, from kickstarting your healthy lifestyle to tips on how to maintain a healthy mind. Tune in from 12pm on Sunday, June 28.

You know Cork GP Dr Doireann O’Leary from her daily Instagram updates, where she promotes health, medical information and wellness as well as her own life experiences and interests – fashion in particular.

After discussing her own cervical cancer diagnosis with her followers last year, Dr Doireann cemented herself as one of the go-to Instagram accounts for fuss-free advice and healthy living tips in an easy-to-understand and consumable way.

For Week 2 of IMAGE Self-care Sundays, Dr Doireann will be joined by London-based GP Dr Sayyada Mawji, in a virtual conversation focusing on health, with IMAGE contributing editor Melanie Morris.

Dr Sayyada has helped launch the #stillherestillcare campaign in the UK, encouraging patients to present to their GPs if they are unwell during the Covid-19 pandemic. The message to the public is that services are still operating and every effort is being made by healthcare staff to ensure health and safety at all times.

The doctors will share their advice on how to lead a healthy lifestyle and where to start. Staying true to yourself and knowing the life you want to live will help you to get you through any bumps that may arise along the road.

If you have a question for our doctors, don’t forget to submit it at registration and we will try to answer as many as possible.

IMAGE Self-care Sundays is an eight-week wellness series, in partnership with Yoplait. Melanie Morris will host eight virtual events – all free to the IMAGE reader – so you can access them from the comfort of your own home. Get inspired to start your own self-care journey and spread Yoplait’s ‘You Time’ message that putting yourself first is a key component in life’s happiness and success.
