And just like that, another year of Halloween festivities have passed in the blink of an eye. Thankfully, the celebs served up enough elaborate looks to keep us well fed for the next year or so.
Where to begin?
Whether you spent the bank holiday Halloween weekend pulling out some high concept costume changes of your own, or stayed home on the sofa scrolling through posts from big name celebrities — Halloween 2022 saw some truly exceptional and utterly original costumes come out of the woodwork.
From Lizzo and James Kavanagh making us wonder who made the best Marge Simpsons to Heidi Klum bravely asking, ‘would you still love me if I was a worm?’, it’s incredibly difficult to pick a favourite.
In true Kardashian fashion, the whole family pulled some fantastic looks out of the bag, including Kendall’s entirely meta cucumber costume (come on, who could possibly forget her bizarre chopping methods from earlier this year?) and Kim turning up to Tracee Ellis Ross’ party dressed as Mystique, only to find out that it was not in fact a fancy dress event.
Other stand-out looks included Harry Styles performing as Danny Zuko on stage at Love on Tour, former Victorious co-stars Ariana Grande and Liz Gillies’ Best in Show recreations, and one Irish comedian’s interpretation of a baby Guinness.
