Team IMAGE shares their Valentine’s Day wishlists

by Edaein OConnell
13th Feb 2026

From sweet treats to statement pieces, love is in the air and so is inspiration. This Valentine’s Day, Team IMAGE is opening up their personal wishlists to share the gifts they’re dreaming of, they have hinted at, and are maybe even treating themselves to.

Sarah Gill, Deputy Digital Editor

Historically, I have been a huge advocate for the humble love letter. What woman doesn’t want their significant other to wax lyrical about them on a silly little card emblazoned with a bare-bottomed cupid? Not this one. But in the true spirit of the holiday, let’s talk materialism.

First off, I want flowers, and make them dried. I love these cute little bunches from Paper Daisy. They come in a little ceramic house vase and, crucially, won’t be dead within a week. A book (duh, Fleabag Scriptures) and a record (hello, romantic backing track for some kissing) are nice little ways to show someone you know them, and an excuse to dress up and elegantly sip some perversely complex signature cocktail will always go down well.

And, of course, world peace.

Holly O’ Neill, Digital and Beauty Editor

As Love Story comes to Netflix, I’ve been hooked on Carolyn Bessette Kennedy’s wardrobe, so I have CBK by Sunita Kumar Nair, €54.50 on the wishlist for some essential reading. I’m impatiently awaiting Brown Thomas to stock the duo-tone Heaven Mayhem Mini Knot Earrings, €94.95 and if someone really loved me, I’d like the Victoria Beckham Beauty Posh Balm in Fleur, €36. Finally, if you’re stuck for a great gift for someone, Balmain Beauty’s latest Sel d’Ambre Candle, €75, smells so good that my eyes rolled back into my head when I first sniffed it.

Megan Burns, Editor, IMAGE Interiors

My husband knows the way to my heart is through home comforts: loose tea or matcha powder for cosy mornings in, and Irish-made dark chocolate for a sweet-salty snack are guaranteed winners. A pair of gorgeous red socks would also go down a treat, or a chic pink and red bath towel (even better if he promises never to use it!).

Amber O’ Shea, Social Media Manager

For this Valentine’s Day, I want to be spoiled and have my eyes on a few bits that I may just end up buying myself. I ADORE this gorgeous bag from Marmala, and I want every pair of tights from this amazing designer. Then this corset from Ríon Hannora is an incredible piece for any wardrobe. Finally, I want to get this fun shirt from Pellador too.

Hannah Stapleton, Freelance Junior Marketing Account Executive

Every Valentine’s Day, I am reminded of the card that arrived through my letterbox, with no indication of who sent it – a funny joke from one of my friends, I’d imagine. This year, a mystery card is not at the top of my list, but a bottle of Coops Cocktails is, specifically the Sexy Margarita. I’m heading on a city break at the end of this month, so any cool accessory is also high on my list. This Ganni Balaclava and Bound Apparel cap would be the perfect addition to my wardrobe. Lastly, an IMAGE subscription would be such a wonderful gift to receive and would keep me up to date with all that is relevant in the world of Irish culture and fashion.
