Summer essentials you’ll want to wear (and use) all year round.
Fashion is fun in the summer. From bright colours to bold prints, chunky sandals and beaded jewellery – it’s a season where pretty much anything goes, sartorially speaking at least.
This year’s catwalks saw several trends emerge, micro mini skirts, 90s neon and curve-enhancing corsets amongst them… but rules are there to be broken, and dopamine dressing is all about wearing what feels good. Quilted jackets and biker boots have been replaced with beach cover-ups and fisherman sandals. Linen has become our new best friend and you can guarantee we’ll be living in co-ords all summer long.
The overarching mood is one of real optimism. The Irish aimsir may not cooperate, but we’ll be dressing for the weather we want and not the weather we have regardless.
