Kwanele Nomoyi: A week in my wardrobe

Kwanele Nomoyi is a Dublin-based cultural strategist and media personality working at the intersection of fashion, luxury, fragrance, and contemporary culture. Originally from South Africa, he serves as a Retail Market Lead at Google, partnering with leading luxury jewellery, beauty, fashion, and lifestyle brands to drive digital strategy, consumer growth, and contemporary brand positioning. Known for his refined personal style and thoughtful approach to contemporary brand-building, Kwanele has become a trusted voice within Ireland’s evolving cultural landscape. He regularly collaborates with luxury and heritage brands, hosts industry events and conversations, and contributes to discussions around identity, aesthetics and the business of luxury. Here is a week in his wardrobe.

MONDAY

I wanted to start the week with a look that felt polished but still relaxed. I’m wearing a green Italian linen-blend blazer from Marks & Spencer layered over a white linen shirt from Eleventy, paired with beige linen trousers from Massimo Dutti and brown suede loafers from Louis Copeland. I finished the look with brown Prada aviator sunglasses. For me, this is one of those perfect Dublin summer looks — tailored, breathable, and very inspired by effortless Italian summer dressing.

TUESDAY

This look feels very “city summer.” I’m wearing a beige double-breasted blazer from Eleventy with soft gold button detailing, paired with wide-leg beige trousers from Boggi and a beige linen shirt from Eton. The accessories really complete this look for me — a brown Western-inspired Eleventy belt, brown Prada sunglasses, Russell & Bromley loafers, my Bottega Veneta work bag, and a lightweight ICICLE trench coat carried in-hand. It feels elegant, structured, and very wearable.

WEDNESDAY

Midweek dressing for me is usually where tailoring and denim meet. Here I’m wearing a light blue textured double-breasted blazer from Eleventy over a blue Eton shirt, paired with Levi’s 501 jeans and navy suede loafers from Thomas Patrick. I added a black ICICLE work bag and blue-lensed sunglasses for a slightly more contemporary finish.

THURSDAY

This is probably one of the most fashion-forward looks of the week. The blazer from ICICLE is made from an incredibly lightweight semi-sheer cotton that almost feels translucent in the light, layered over a soft blue cotton shirt and yellow flax trousers, also from ICICLE. I paired the look with Russell & Bromley loafers, a straw hat from Kennedy & McSherry, tortoiseshell sunglasses from Meller, and a beige envelope bag from Eleventy. The overall feeling is very relaxed, luxury holiday dressing.

FRIDAY

For Friday, I wanted something that felt slightly more classic and sporty. I’m wearing a navy Luigi Bianchi blazer over a crisp white shirt from Louis Copeland, paired with Levi’s 541 jeans and white Filling Pieces sneakers. The layered Ralph Lauren knit over the shoulders and navy cap soften the tailoring and make the look feel more casual heading into the weekend.

SATURDAY

This was one of the easiest looks of the week — relaxed but still elevated. I’m wearing cream trousers from Boggi with a chocolate brown leather jacket from Zara layered over a beige COS vest. I finished the look with brown Hugo Boss loafers and a large woven Eleventy summer tote. It feels effortless, understated, and ideal for slower weekend dressing.

SUNDAY

I wanted to end the week with a look that felt luxurious but still relaxed. The full look is from ICICLE — a brown silk shirt and trouser set layered under a wool and silk blend longline jacket. I paired it with khaki-brown Russell & Bromley loafers, a beige Mulberry messenger bag, and yellow-lensed Tom Ford sunglasses. It’s probably the look that best captures my approach to dressing overall — soft tailoring, rich textures, and understated luxury.
