Georgia Larsen: A week in my wardrobe

Georgia Larsen: A week in my wardrobe

The queen of boho-meets-Scandi dressing, Georgia Larsen (creator of Dora Larsen lingerie) builds her outfits around colour with ruffled blouses, chunky knits and flowy dresses all staples in her everyday attire. Here she takes us through a week in her wardrobe.

MONDAY

My favourite time of year to dress for is autumn, when it’s not too hot and not too cold out. But for winter, I usually just end up extending the wear period for my summer dresses by teaming them with a chunky cardigan, tights and slip-on shoes or boots.

TUESDAY

The most worn item in my wardrobe currently is this grass green cardigan from American Vintage. Surprisingly, it goes with literally everything. Green has replaced black for me, it enhances every outfit and seems to complement all colours.

WEDNESDAY

The perfect ingredients for an outfit are: mixing different textures, shapes, and moods (rather than trying to match everything). I think this outfit pretty much sums that up. I love mixing this fluffy, girly jumper, with a more structured, masculine skirt and boot.

THURSDAY

I feel most confident when I’m wearing a midi skirt. They’re comfortable, flattering and make me feel the most ‘me’. My favourite skirt at the moment is this one from Shrimps. It was expensive but worth every penny – I wear it constantly, both during the day and on a night out. And as it’s green, it goes with everything!

FRIDAY

One of my favourite, most treasured vintage finds is this green dress. Well, it’s not technically a ‘find’ as it was handed down to me by my mum who wore it in the 70s. It makes me feel very Scandinavian – I love that milkmaid look!

SATURDAY

Heels or flats? For me, it’s almost always flats, but I’m also a sucker for a short heel with jeans and a sock. I love these white ones from Miista, which I bought a few years ago.

SUNDAY

My style in three words: Comfortable, feminine, vintage. I think this outfit encapsulates that. I wear a lot of skirts and dresses as I tend to lean towards girly things, but comfort is key for me so I’m usually just in a pair of slippers or flat boots and a cosy cardigan or jumper. I don’t like following trends, so I buy a lot of vintage. I’ve pretty much had the same style since I was about 15. Not sure if that’s a good thing or not!
