If you ever needed proof that there is no age limit on fashionable instinct look no further than?Advanced Style on Instagram.?It’s often said?that as you grow?older you become more confident in your skin and these women are certainly not sartorially shy.?They’re breaking ageist stereotypes and establishing new fashion ground – nothing is too garish, too short or too much.
Photographer Ari Seth Cohen roams the streets of New York photographing creative older folk who prove that “personal style advances with age”. His hugely successful?blog and Instagram’spawned an uplifting’documentary and book last year on these style icons?and their vivacious approach to ageing. It’s a must-see film and here we round up some of his best photographs to give you a taste for the liveliness and flair?of his models.
