It looks sunny but feels chilly. These sweaters will add warmth to your mid-season wardrobe without adding bulk.
I love this retro crochet sweater. It reminds me of a tea cosy… but in a good way! It’s a relatively open weave so you definitely won’t overheat in April, and the colours are suitably optimistic as we (slowly) head into summer.

This H&M jumper is a really elegant piece. The super-fine knit and soft shade of dove grey make it worthy of evening wear. For day, I’d layer it over other neutrals for a very upmarket look.
Fine-knit jumper, €29.99 at H&M
Stripes always work in summer but it’s nice to choose a piece that has a bit more character to it than the standard Breton top. The vibrant red cuffs of this Cos sweater?give it a quirky touch.
Fine-knitted cotton jumper, €39 at Cos
This elevated sweater would double up for day and evening.?I love that it will work for women who prefer V-necks and those who’d rather wear crew necks. Clever.

There’s something endearingly homemade-looking about this Massimo Dutti sweater, which I love. I also think the oversized, throw-over style is perfect for spring through to summer.
