Here’s where to shop our September fashion shoot

On cold, wet, windswept days, it’s easy to feel like you’re fading into sartorial obscurity, but statement outwear is the easiest way to bring newness to your wardrobe. Longer lengths and oversized silhouettes look contemporary and cool and the time is now to swap summer palettes for layers of charcoal, deep black, rich navy and modern slate. But if autumnal tones are not your forté then try bright tan and honey yellow instead (look 2, below), and a deep forest green fitted wool trench coat is the perfect companion for the mid-week hustle and weekends relaxing in nature (look 5, bottom).
